Crispy and full of flavour, these pita sticks are sure to be a snack time hit.
Prep Time: 10 minutes, Bake Time: 5 minutes
Makes about 36 sticks
1 pkg. organic pita, white or whole wheat
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp. sea salt
1 tsp. dill
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tsp. garlic powder
Preheat oven to 400° F. Mix together the spices and herbs. Cut each pita, with a pair of kitchen scissors, into 1-inch wide strips. Place on a cookie sheet. Brush with olive oil. Sprinkle with spice mixture. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until golden brown.
