Fresh Peaches in late harvest Riesling

Martin Rothe's luscious biodynamic peaches and Gehringer Brothers Riesling grapes share the same soil on the hillsides of Oliver, BC. This recipe brings them together in a bliss-inducing match.


- 4 ripe organic peaches
- 1/2 cup Gehringer late harvest Riesling
(or other BC Riesling icewine, such as
Jackson-Triggs or Cedar Creek)
- 1 cup organic vanilla ice cream

serves 4
Slice the peaches into even sized wedges; soak them in the wine for 2 hours.
Serve peach slices (and the juices) and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
